Author Guidelines
Authors submitting manuscripts to the International Journal of Recent Research in Engineering Technology (IJRRET) are requested to carefully read and follow the guidelines below to ensure the quality, consistency, and smooth processing of their submissions.
📄 1. Manuscript Categories
We accept the following types of contributions:
- Original Research Articles
- Review Papers
- Case Studies
- Short Communications
- Technical Notes
📐 2. Manuscript Format
Authors are encouraged to download and use the IJRRET Template for formatting.
- Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing
- Margins: 1 inch on all sides
- File Type: MS Word (.doc/.docx) only
- Length: Maximum 12 pages (excluding references), extra pages may incur additional charges
🧩 3. Structure of the Paper
Each manuscript should contain the following sections:
- Title: Clear and concise, max 20 words
- Author(s) Information: Full name, affiliation, ORCID (if available), email
- Abstract: 150–250 words summarizing the key aspects of the research
- Keywords: 4–6 relevant keywords
- Introduction: Background, motivation, and research objectives
- Literature Review (if applicable)
- Methodology: Experimental or computational approach
- Results & Discussion
- Conclusion: Main findings and future scope
- References: Use consistent citation style (preferably IEEE or APA)
🔍 4. Plagiarism & Originality
All submissions must be original and free from plagiarism. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 15% (excluding references) will be rejected. We use tools such as Turnitin or iThenticate for plagiarism screening.
⚖️ 5. Ethical Considerations
Authors must ensure:
- Proper citation of prior work
- No falsification or fabrication of data
- Disclosure of conflicts of interest
- Human/animal subjects research must include ethical approval documentation
🛠️ 6. Figures & Tables
- All figures should be high-resolution (min. 300 DPI)
- Number all figures and tables sequentially
- Provide appropriate captions below each figure/table
- Avoid including figures or data copied from other sources without permission
🔗 7. References
- Use a consistent referencing style (IEEE/APA/MLA)
- Ensure all cited references are listed and vice versa
- Include DOIs or URLs for online resources when available

⏱️ 9. Review & Publication Timeline
- Initial Editorial Screening: 2–3 working days
- Peer Review Decision: Within 7–10 days
- Revised Submission: Within 7 days of receiving reviewer comments
- Final Publication: Upon acceptance.
💳 10. Article Processing Charges (APC)
There is NO publication fees. IJRRET doesn’t collect any fees for paper submission or publication. It’s a Free Journal.
